Arts Center says 35 turned out for Free Open Studio Day

June 29, 2019 (MOULTRIE, Ga.) The Colquitt County Arts Center saw a massive participation at its Free Open Studio Day for All. More than 35 attendees arrived to create art, work on existing projects, and meet other artists.

This new program is funded by a grant from the Georgia Council of Developmental Disabilities and allows for a space for the entire community to come together regardless of ability.

Free Open Studio Day will continue every second Thursday with an occasional extra day added sometime during the month. The next Open Studio days will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, July 11, and 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, Aug. 8.

Registration is required to attend in order to ensure that there are enough supplies. To register, please visit colquittcountyarts.com or stop by the Arts Center office, which is open 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
