Dunwoody Resident Appointed to Georgia Council on Development Disabilities

Gov. Nathan Deal recently appointed Evan Nodvin to the organization

Dunwoody resident Evan Nodvin was recently appointed to the Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities by Gov. Nathan Deal.

Nodvin has Down syndrome, a genetic condition caused by the presence of an extra 21st chromosome. Intervention began at the age of three months for Evan.

Nodvin is a 2000 graduate of Chamblee High School. For the past 13 years, he has worked as a kitchen assistant/support aide at the Weinstein Senior Adult Day Center in Atlanta.
