Open Letter from People First of Georgia President Marian Jackson on Warren Hill
People First of Georgia wants to thank Gov. Deal for stopping the execution of Warren Hill. We hope the needed changes to the law will happen. No one with a Developmental Disability should be on death row. We support all efforts to make this change happen. This only proves that it takes the disability community coming together as a whole to make it happen. We also want to thank President Carter and his family for taking a stand on this important issue and his continued support of the Disability Community.
We want to remind everyone that February is Self Advocate's month. We ask all self advocates across the state of Georgia to contact your state legislator and make this change happen.
