SNELLVILLE - The Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities will have a launch party on Saturday for the Gwinnett Gives TimeBank.

Grace Fellowship Church in Snellville will host the event for the TimeBank, which is part of a national movement to promote equality and build caring community economies in an inclusive manner, according to a news release.

The concept is people share gifts and talents with one another, and then receive them back from someone else in the group.

The Gwinnett Gives TimeBank is a project of the Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities Real Communities initiative, which is designed to help people at the grassroots level work to improve their community.

The event will have games, giveaways, crafts and food.  If you plan to attend, RSVP to or call 678.427.7873.

The GCDD is a federally funded independent state agency.
